David La Piana is founder and President of La Piana Consulting (based in California) a firm specializing in finding solutions to the strategic issues faced by nonprofit organizations and their funders. His widely read report Convergence: How Five Trends Will Reshape the Social Sector yields important findings about five key trends which are converging to shape the nonprofit sector in North America
