English Language Learners GED PREPARATION Class - Seeking Collaborative Endpoints

This is a ‘call out' for interested iCCAN Community endpoints who would like to offer this class in their community via videoconferencing. DEADLINE to REGISTER: October 4, 2010.

During these sessions students will receive instruction in the following areas:

• Reading
• Writing
• Mathematics
• Science
• Social Studies

The GED Preparation Class will prepare students to take the General Equivalency Diploma Exam.

Cost to Student: Course is $75 + text book (approximately $24) = $99* (*dependent on cost of textbook).

Host Site Fee: no cost to iCCAN community endpoints.

Responsibilities of Host sites:

• Registering students at your location,
• Collect payment from Participants;
• Forward a cheque with the total amount to Taber & District Community;
• Endpoints and students will be asked to fill out an Evaluation at the end of the course.
