Session 1: Are You Struggling With a Mining Disaster: February 1, 2012

Examine what types of information you need to capture to fully understand and engage your donors and funders. Leave those spreadsheets and lists behind. Neither relationships nor opportunities are supported when using mine-less data.

Session 2: Who’s Watching Your Big Asset?: February 8, 2012

Many charities operate based on the money they raise through donations. The list of donors represents an invaluable asset that needs to be managed. Donors look for accountability and a few simple rules can help to ensure you keep your ‘asset’ in good shape.

Session 3: Kill the Clutter! How to Work Smarter: February 15, 2012

Tools are used to assist us in our work. Today’s tools come in the form of electronic documents, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics and more. Learn how to create a simple Knowledge Management System (KMS) to support not one, but all members of your organization.

Session 4: Treating Your Donors as Customers: February 22, 2012

There are many options for donors when they want to give charitable dollars. How do you keep your donors committed to your charity? The answer may be found in how your favorite retail outlet retains your patronage. Much like a business, the first transaction a customer makes determines future activity. For an owner, repeat business is their ‘bread and butter’ as attracting new customers is time consuming and costly. The same can be said for charities. That first donation can be the start of a long term relationship, or not. Treating your donors as your customers only makes sense when building a win-win relationship. Learn how to build your loyalty program.
